Full name: Mewrah Weapon Age: Early twenties; roughly one year younger than Caracal Element: Sound Abilities: Sonokinesis (Sound Manipulation); swords woman. Three words that describe her best: Happy, Loving, Warrior Bio: Mewrah is the cliché "love interest for the main hero". A version of her featured in my old fan fiction (bio can be found here [link]), and was inspired by "female warriors" that can be found in some RPGs and stories, e.g. Tifa.
However but I never actually wrote any chapters with her in, so she's always stayed in the back of my mind. About 14/15/16 months ago I revived her after a discussion between Raiden and myself. Raiden helped me re-create her and since then Blade has helped me re-design how she looks.
Since then she's gone on to be one of my main characters. To try and be a little different she's more interested in being a warrior and training than her love interest Caracal. Additionally while she's open about her feelings for him, Caracal is unable to notice.

"Aww heck! He's doing his usual!"
Sorry. Sorry. However I've recently changed my general shading style and modified the picture to include creases in clothes, so I thought I'd fix Mewrah and re-submit it. I did consider just replacing the old one with this but few people may notice the changes that way. The only one is now in my scraps.
I'm pleased with the creases in her clothes and the general shading I've done. Not wishing to sound big headed but I think my shading has improved greatly.
However looking back at this picture after someone made a comment on the legs in the Noir picture, I realise now that the legs and left foot are off. It's annoying but at least now I know what to keep my eyes open for when working on future pictures.
As always, credit and thanks to the usual people for their help and advice.
Edit on 09/04/08 - The lines looked off first time around, so I went back to the original flash file, made them thicker. Had to move the colours around a little to get it all to fit but I think the lines look MUCH better now.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
